Hi I am looking to share a house/home. I have sold my house of 10 years outside Coffs Harbour and am looking to relocate closer to friends and family in Brisbane and SEQld. House prices has gone beyond my capacity and I don't want to live by myself at the age of 68+. I have been a professional HR Consultatnt, Trainer/Teacher and facilitator, and in the last decade have become interested and concerned about how communities can sustain themselves through the climate changes and impacts such as bushfires, drought and floods. I wil be getting involved in such voluntary action once I find my feet. I am also a writer. occasional poet and artist. I am rather an introvert but do engage with my community such as food swaps, offering help where I can. I have discovered a satisfaction with cooking and currently make my own yoghurt, cheese and sauerkraut - expanding how I can be more self-sufficient being Gluten and Lactose intolerant. I enjoy speculative fiction. I have two dogs - one elderly BC cross and a 5 year old Labrador/kelpie x. I train my dogs and give them plenty of exercise although the elderly princess has her own buggy. I prefer to not navigate stairs and definitely prefer a house with a garden - I love providing salad/vegetables for the table and fruit.
