Hi everyone, welcome to the April 2024 edition…
Thank you for signing up to receive our updates and a big welcome to our new members.

We hope everyone had a good and safe Easter. Here at Better Together Housing we have been hosting a number of information sessions on the program around the Sunshine Coast with more on the way. These information sessions have been catered to people who would like to learn more about the Better Together Housing program either for themselves or maybe even a friend or family member. We also like to utilise these sessions to ask questions from the audience about what successful shared housing looks like to them to see if our program can help in anyway. If you would like to attend one of these session we are hosting some in Pomona and Caloundra over April and May. We also have plans to host future sessions in Redcliffe and Beerwah. If there is a place you would like us to host an information session please don’t hesitate to reach out.

New Website Update
We are in the final stages of the new website development and are almost ready for members to test it out! We want to make sure that this website is as user friendly as possible and that is why we would love feedback from members. It doesn’t matter whether you can use technology easily or you might find it harder to use, we would love for any and all feedback so that this website can meet the needs of our members. We have had a number of members reach out to offer their feedback and we will be in touch soon for the next steps to test it out. If you are a member and would like to help test out the new website please don’t hesitate to contact us on info@bettertogetherhousing.com.au

Once we have finalised the website we will be sending out messages to all members with instructions on how they can sign into the new website. We will be available to help trouble shoot any problems as well.

Members, don’t forget to check your Junk Folder!

When a member messages you or comments on your post on the website an email will go out to advise you that you have a message to check. It is always recommended that you check your junk folder just in case this notification hasn’t gone to your inbox. We wouldn’t want anyone to miss out on an opportunity to connect with other members.

Curious about shared housing options? Interested in exploring the idea of living with other amazing women? Mackay’s Better Together Housing Project Worker will be a guest speaker at the @mackaywomenscentre Mackay Active Women’s Group on the 17th of April.

It’s a relaxed opportunity to learn more and chat about how shared living arrangements can offer support and companionship. No pressure, just good conversation and new possibilities.
