Natalie Moore never expected to be opening her home to strangers, let alone someone she met online.
But at 55 years old, she’s found herself with no option but to look for a housemate through social media.
“I had to put [a room] out on Facebook. I didn’t want to. I put it off for weeks and weeks,” Ms Moore said.
“I have never been so terrified in my whole entire life.”
Ms Moore is among an older generation who have not grown up marketing themselves online.
For her, the thought of inviting a stranger to live in her home is confronting.
