Better Together Housing Newsletter 20 September 2023

Hi everyone, welcome to the September 2023 edition…
Thank you for signing up to receive our updates and a big welcome to our new members.

Welcome Donna!

We are very pleased to welcome Donna and her expertise to Better Together Housing. Donna
has written a few words to introduce herself below: I am very fortunate to have recently started a newly created role at Coast2Bay Housing, Community Development Manager. In this role, I am very excited to be working with Natasha to deliver the Better Together Housing Program. I first starting working in the homelessness and community housing space back in the early 90s. My 35 year career has always included passionate advocacy for social justice – including safe, secure and affordable homes, in welcoming, supportive and thriving communities for all.

As a Community Development Worker, my role is to facilitate processes that build on strengths IN community to support communities to address their OWN interests and needs. I look very forward to working with women from across the Sunshine Coast to address the significant housing crisis impacting so many, and to continue to grow Better Together as a viable housing option for themselves.
