How does it work?

Participating in the program is a simple three step process as follows:

Step One: Register your interest (using the form below)

To become a part of the Better Together Shared Housing community for women over 55 years you will need to complete the registration form below.  This can be done via this online form, but if you have difficulty please contact us and we will discuss with you other options. We can be contacted on: info@bettertogetherhousing.com.au or call Gail Middleton on 0409 810 668.

Step Two: You will be sent security check forms

Once you have completed your registration form below, we will email you additional forms to enable us to complete your police and reference checks. During this time we will be working with you to craft your unique 'story' for your profile on this website. The participants 'stories' will be published to the website without any identifiable personal details. Anyone will be able to see these stories but only approved participants will be able to get in touch with each other.

Step Three: Participate!

As a registered participant, you will be encouraged to participate in the program in the comfort of your own home by looking at the stories of new people who are added to the website. You will be given resources to help you make informed choices about selecting a share mate. There are multiple avenues to be actively involved, through our Facebook page, special events, focus groups and face to face meetings with other participants. Remember you will need to search for and find your desired home or house-mate, the more you are actively involved in looking, the sooner it will happen for you.

Register your Interest

This application form requires more than factual answers as we use the information to create YOUR STORY.  There are no right or wrong answers just comments about your choices and preferences. This registration process also requires you to undergo a police check and reference checks.  Once these have been assessed we will work with you to create YOUR STORY that will be posted on our website www.bettertogetherhousing.com.au

Whilst this is a public site your identity and contact details will remain private. If another registered applicant wants to connect with you they will only be able to do so through the BTH office.  Your contact details will not be given to anyone without your permission. As this is a pilot project funded through the Queensland Government there are no costs to participate.

By proceeding with this registration form you are confirming that you have read, understood and agree to the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy of Better Together Housing, which is a joint project by Sundale Ltd and the Coast2Bay Housing Group Ltd.
