Hi, my name is Semone, and I’m offering a room for rent on my peaceful acreage property in Dayboro. I’m ideally looking for an active, single person who is an animal lover, a country girl at heart, and who enjoys gardening and rural living. This would suit someone who appreciates a quiet, private lifestyle in a beautiful natural setting. I work full-time and travel regularly for work, so I’m seeking someone who is comfortable caring for the cats and dogs while I’m away. On the plus side, when I am travelling you’ll have the entire property to yourself 😊. The home is a comfortable, lowset four-bedroom, double-brick house set on 8 peaceful acres, surrounded by larger farms. It’s very private and quiet, yet conveniently located just 6 minutes from the Dayboro town centre. You’ll have your own private queen-sized bedroom with a three-door built-in wardrobe and a large wall-mounted TV. The room currently contains a queen bed and two lowboys, which can be removed if you prefer to bring your own furniture. The bathroom, kitchen, laundry, dining, and living areas are shared. House cleaning is shared equally. There is also an expectation that you’ll be able to use my ride-on mower for some mowing, as the weekly mowing service does not cover the entire property. Please note that your own transport is essential, as there is no public transport nearby. The closest train stations are Petrie and Ferny Grove. My animal family includes three horses, two large and very excitable young dogs, and five fluffy cats. Property features include: • WiFi and Netflix, Solar power, Rainwater tanks, Raised garden beds (overgrown), Orchards (in need of some love), External CCTV security and Horse paddocks Rent: • $290 per week for the queen-sized bedroom, including bills • Option to rent a second single bedroom (ideal as an office or storage) • $390 per week for both rooms, including bills Rent is payable two weeks in advance, with a four-week bond lodged with the RTA.
